CIRES is a synthpop band from cologne, Germany, founded in 2019 by singer Eric Schmaler and producer Matthias Boelicke (MatB).
The two have known each other since 2006, collaborating on music for Eric's previous band X-DIVIDE before forming CIRES.
The band combines electronic sounds with melodic vocals, producing a modern synthpop style. They have released singles and are actively working on new music, gaining recognition in the German syntpop scene.
